Staff February 19, 2008 (view image) According to a recent report on 9to5mac, Apple is planning to drop the prices of the iPhone and iPod Touch by $100 within the next 2 months. The move is reportedly intended to clear out inventory and make way for a new 3G iPhone. 9to5mac says a tipster tells them that the 8GB iPhone and 8GB iPod Touch will be phased out from the line.
